After what seems like ages, the constant uncertainty that has been whether or not Neymar is set to leave Barcelona for PSG seems to hit its peak as, according to a report from Marca, the Brazilian has finally spoken out that he wants out of the Catalan club.
Citing a tweet from @PremsaFCB, Marca reports that Neymar has informed the club that he wishes to leave the Catalans and has been granted permission from the manager to not attend training as well. This was after Neymar flew into Barcelona from China late in the afternoon, where he finished off various promotional duties for the club.
The report also states that Neymar was the last one to attend training and, once he did show up, he met with club directors for a short meeting that lasted about an hour and informed the club of his decision to leave.
Neymar seems to have finally spoken out after keeping mum about his future as various media outlets have gone back and forth about the future of the Brazilian superstar, swinging wildly from one day to the other about whether or not he is set to leave for Paris St. Germain. Fans, (reportedly) teammates and the press alike have all been driven to the end of their rope with Neymar’s ambivalence, but it seems as if Neymar’s tenure has come to an end.
