Kylian Mbappé wants to leave AS Monaco this summer according to a report by Marca. The story states that various French outlets are already considering Mbappé with one foot out of the Stade Louis II. Reports from Le10Sport and L’Equipe say that the Frenchman has communicated to the brass at Monaco that he wants a transfer out of the Ligue 1 side.
The heavy favorites to land the 18-year-old are Real Madrid, as Mbappé has divulged interest in joining the current Champions League titleholders. Los Blancos have reportedly offered a hefty €180 million deal to send the young superstar to the Santiago Bernabéu.
However, los Merengues have some competition for Mbappé as Barcelona have recently thrown their hat in the ring, after Neymar’s departure from the club early Wednesday morning, and Manchester City is also looking to land Mbappé with manager Pep Guardiola keen on bringing him to England.
In what has been an already frenzied transfer window, with record-breaking fees being paid to land high-profile superstars, the Bondy-born’s possible transfer to Real Madrid would be another one to add to the list. Mbappé’s final destination has yet to be determined, but it will be sure to shake up the football landscape even further.
