After weeks of doubt whether or not the deal was going to happen, Ousmane Dembélé has finally got his wish and will be the newest signing for Barcelona.
A report from Marca stated that Barça offered a whopping €130 million for the French forward as Borussia Dortmund finally accepted the bid, most likely feeling like they had no other option but to sell him.
BVB originally placed the fee for Dembélé at €150 million, but the Catalan squad was unwilling to spend that kind of money for the young talent.
However, 20-year-old Frenchman made it clear that he no longer wanted to be a part of Dortmund, as he did not arrive to train for the start of the Bundesliga season.
As a result Dortmund suspended Dembélé and initially rejected the first €100 million bid that Barça offered in early August.
But the pressure the French international was placing on Die Borussen to force a move out made it clear that the only option was to ship him out to Spain.
Now Dembélé will seemingly be the the third component of the attacking trident that was formerly occupied by Neymar.
With Messi, Suarez and now Dembélé, the blaugrana are looking like they could give Real Madrid a run for La Liga title.
